H-B’s Fall Formal is one of the most memorable events of the autumn, known for music, dancing, and a new theme each year. Last Friday, high schoolers were able to enjoy games, gambling, and heat that aligned with this year’s theme, ‘A Night in Vegas’.
There were many things to do, such as cards, scratch-offs, dancing in the band room, and a break on the terrace to cool off. Everyone was having a great time, even as the windows of the band room started to fog up. “I felt a mix of intrigue and excitement”, said one attendee.
Last year’s Fall Formal was infamous for the stifling heat. Fortunately, people who attended both said that this year’s was more tolerable, which most likely means that the fans that were used helped. Students were also more spread out and able to enjoy a wide variety of activities. Hopefully, next year’s Fall Formal will be even better!
