Summer is here as are hopeful summer movie blockbusters! I did a little research into a few that come out this month that I can’t wait to see. Check out their summaries and release dates below.
Ballerina: From the World of John Wick

Starring: Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves
Promotional Summary: Young Eve, the protagonist seeks vengeance as a cult murdered her parents.She gets taken by her dad’s cult, Ruska Roma and grows up there to develop her ballet and combat skills. She goes on a mission to kill the chancellor, who is the leader of the cult that murdered her parents. Revenge is a big theme, with her wanting vengeance with the people who killed her family.
I already got to saw this one and thought that the movie was engaging with the story plot and intensity.
28 Years Later

Starring: Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes
Promotional Summary: 28 years later is an upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film of the third in the 28 Days Later film series, following 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. Twenty eight years after the Rage virus escaped a medical research lab, survivors have found ways to survive/exist among the infected. One group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland, with one of them deciding to venture into the mainland. He soon discovers a mutation that has spread to both the infected and the survivors.
M3GAN 2.0

Promotional Summary: M3GAN 2.0 continues the chilling story, based on the prequel M3GAN, of an artificial intelligence robot who develops self awareness.
