Are the Giants on the right path to a successful season?

If you’ve been watching the NFL recently or watch any source of news you should know about the New York Giants recent success, and their underdog story. Today Cole Myklegard and Khumoyun Ibrokhimov will be explaining their recent success and stand out players.

Jaxson Dart, the star of the New York Giants offense, originally a backup to veteran Russel Wilson, has been making headlines. Drafted from Ole Miss, he has been going viral with his energetic gameplay, and strong sense of humor. Jaxson Dart has over 500 passing yards, four passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, and two interceptions coming out of week six.

Cam Skattebo, the Giants running back, has also been going viral for his humorous interviews, and aggressive style of running.“He would put his brother’s shoulder pads on and he would run into telephone pulls,” His mother said while being interviewed about his recent success. This season he has 338 yards, and five touchdowns going into week seven.

The Giants have won four Super Bowls in their storied franchise history. Their first ever Super Bowl win was in January, 1987. The score was 39-10, the Giants played the Denver Broncos and won. The Giants won again four4 years later.They played the Buffalo Bills and won 20-19. In 2008, the Giants won their third Super Bowl by beating  the New England Patriots 17 to 14. Their most recent Super Bowl Championship came in  2012 when they played the Patriots again, and won 21-17.

The Giants season hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. Malik Nabers, their star wide receiver, is out for the season with a torn ACL and torn meniscus., Twenty-two others are also questionable, out, or on injury reserve. Brian Daboll, the Giants head coach, has also been handling some controversy after problems with his medical staff.

The Giants future is not guaranteed for success. Even though they are 2-2 with Jaxson Dart so far, they are still 2-4 overall. Also, the NFC East is one of the more difficult divisions with the Eagles, Cowboys, and Commanders as the other teams..

Overall we believe that the only way to truly know if the Giants will have a Cinderella story is up to the combination of Jaxson Dart and Cam Skatebbo staying healthy, a string defense, and the team to keep on playing like how they have been in recent weeks.
