As the leaves start to turn and the air begins to cool, H-B students start to look forward to the many events our school offers in the fall. While all of the events we put on are practically guaranteed to be a good time, two in particular stand out amongst the rest: Fall Formal and its middle school counterpart, the Halloween Boo Bash!
The Fall Formal is a yearly event for students, to celebrate the first quarter of school and the coming of a new season. This years’ theme is Gatsby, so be sure to come dressed up in dapper 1920s attire, or perhaps make a literary reference by dressing in green in order to represent the green light that permeates the novel! Mark your calendars, as Fall Formal will be held on campus on November 3rd, 7:30-10pm. As for entry to the dance tickets, they will begin to selling begins on October 27, with tickets priced at $25 per person or $40 for two tickets. It’s sure to be a great party, so plan to get your tickets soon so you can dance the night away!
As for the Halloween Boo Bash, plan to get your tickets on Monday, October 27, because the event is scheduled for Wednesday October 29 right after our early release. Each purchase of a ticket (priced at $10), includes a drink and a snack offered at the function. Along with food and drink, the Halloween Boo Bash offers giant games, Mario Kart competitions, a maze, and a photobooth. Spooky music will also be played. All middle schoolers are encouraged to buy a ticket, come to the Halloween Boo Bash, and have a great, spooky time.
If you have any further questions about these two events, please consult with the teachers behind the HIVE club, or watch the informational video that HIVE posts to Canvas every week.
