We all know that H-B’s field and garage are a work in progress, but what about our helicopter pad?
Revealed by an anonymous roof repair technician, it has come to light that H-B has a regulation-sized helipad on our roof. This has caused students to question if teachers really get to school the way they claim to.While the most common mode of transportation is by car, a small but significant fraction of teachers walk or bike to school.
The most notable of the teachers who bike to school is the 12th grade English teacher, Catherine Frum. She is famous for biking to school everyday. She is a teacher who talks about how much money she saves on gas by being sustainable and biking to school. Teachers who bike to school have created a reputation for themselves that they believe they are superior to the rest of the teachers.
Since the discovery of the helipad, many people have asked Frum if she really bikes every single day. She was reluctant to answer but after days of questioning she finally came clean: “Though I am ashamed to admit it, no, I don’t bike to school. I use the helipad.”
You heard it here, folks: Catherine Frum takes a private helicopter from her home in DC to H-B.
Happy April Fools Day from the staff of the Current!
