BREAKING NEWS: Casey Robinson has decided to resign from being principal at H-B.
The reason for the resignation was Casey getting an offer for her dream job at a law firm. She is really excited and will end her principalship with the end of this school year.
“It was quite a shock when she said she wouldn’t come back next year at a staff meeting,” Christy, the 9th grade English teacher, said. “I mean, who will lead us now? I heard Graham has a new job offer as well. Maybe Kate’s sons can start taking parent meetings as she shoulders the rest?”
It will be sad when Casey leaves because she has worked here for so many years. However, being a lawyer has been her dream job since childhood and when she got an offer to work at this firm, she couldn’t refuse.
We are already planning a party for Casey on the last day of school, and then Kate will become our new principal. In May, some selected teachers and students will interview new candidates for the vacated vice principal positions.
“Even though I have only been here for 2 years, I am really going to miss Casey,” Lucy, a 7th grader, said.
Happy April Fools Day from the staff of the Current!
