Senne Lammens is a Belgian professional soccer player and goalkeeper. He was 23 when he made his first professional debut inthe 2020-2021 season for Royal Antwerp, making 52 appearances. Later on, he was signed on the deadline day with a recorded cost of 18.1£, marking his move to Manchester United.
Lammens made his debut for Manchester United on October 4, 2025, stepping up to play against the club Sunderland FC. As the young 23-year-old was stepping onto the big stage of the Premier League, fans didn’t know how to react to his last minute panic signing by the club’s manager Ruben Amorim. It was shocking to everyone, mostly to fans who were mad, confused, or happy.
The previous first choice goalkeeper, Andre Onana, wasn’t showing enough promise or skill, leading Man United into drastic amounts of losses. Lammens was under a lot of pressure. If Man United had lost, it would’ve been his fault. However, he pulled through under intense pressure of the Old Trafford stadium, keeping a clean sheet and leading them into a win.
As of now, the statistics of Man United and Lammens show that they have had three wins and one draw. Overall, Lammens is starting his Man United debut and season with wins, showing a lot of future promise to fans.
