What is The Georgetown French Market?
Inspired by the markets found in France, the Georgetown French market takes place every year in spring. It features sidewalk sales, galleries, and specials from over 40 locally owned cafés, restaurants, boutiques and shops. The market will also feature stilt-walkers, a mime, and face painting.
What shops will be participating?
The market will boast over 40 locally owned shops. The stores vary over several categories including food and drinks, art, fashion, beauty, wellness, and community. Some of the participating stores will also have discounts and specials going on for the parade. The market will also feature pop-up book sales hosted by TehGeorgetown Neighborhood Library and Georgetown Library Friends.
