The Current wish Graham farewell in his new career.
Just last week, H-B Assistant Principal Graham McBride received a job offer from the Transportation Security Administration at Dulles International Airport.
Here at H-B Woodlawn, McBride is known for his disciplined methods in regulating the use of cellular devices throughout the school day. If he sees your phone outside of its designated Yondr pouch, much like the rules TSA likes to enforce, you’re gonna have some issues. It appears that human resources professionals at TSA have recognized Graham’s dedication and think he would be an asset to their team.
After accepting TSA’s offer of a substantial salary and benefits in exchange for donating his assertive skills to the airport, Graham spoke briefly about what leaving H-B meant to him.
“It was a very difficult decision, I put a lot of thought into it, but I know it’s my responsibility to serve the American people and stop the spread of undue electronic usage on a larger scale.”
Eventually, the time will come to find a replacement for the accomplished assistant principal, but us students will never forget the amazing years we had with Graham serving as our very own.
Happy April Fools Day from the staff of the Current!
